HI. Just purchased my first propane smoker and want more control. I want to replace the supplied regulator / hose assembly with one that 1) has SS braided hose, 2) an inline needle valve, for additional flow control. The regulator on the new assembly is 10PSI with a type 1 tank connector (suitable for a 20 pound tank). The single burner on the smoker is rated for 15,500 BTU,s.

Is this regulator assembly acceptable or is there more to changing out this item.
