For me, a iffy costal storm coming in Wens and lasting till Thanksgiving morn will be testing. Either way rain then snow along with up to 30 mph with it changing direction as Nor'easters usually do. Tents are out of the question, so they'll be alot of moving the smokers around using the house as a wind break. Weld blankets are ready with spring clips, and a tarp lean to for some shelter. Also have elderly family to snow remove and will probably be shuttling them to our house for dinner. Whatever happens i'm not backing down.My daughter's watched me enough over the years to get by and is up for the challenge. Passing of the torch time? Good luck to everyone.

Wimpt69, good for her and when it's done and doesn't turn out like your's , give a big HUG and congratulate her on a FINE JOB . She'll LOVE you forever and be a constant BBQ Partner...

My Grand kids are watching , I'm looking forward to them doing for me...

Have a Great Thanksgiving , and as always . . .

Yeah the storm might be interesting. The ones that come up the coast always seem to baffle forecasters, and if my achy joints are any indication, we're in for something!
Have a happy and safe Thanksgiving!

I took advantage of today, smoked the Turkey, Chicken Thighs, Roasted some Chestnuts. Hope all goes well for you getting it done.
