My wife wandered out to the pit area while I was smoking the brisket. She said it was chilly and asked me to start a fire in the pit.

Later in the day we roasted some hot dogs and polish sausage for lunch

The we decided to do some S'mores

I had the guard dog on duty near the pits. He enjoys 'que too

Excellent, I need one of those. You've got a great, functional pit, bud

That's a nice way to pass the time, spending it with the spouse and cooking some good ol' fashioned, basic, campfire grub.

As soon as you mentioned it was "chilly" I had to check your location. It's a sweltering 95 degrees down here and humid as all h#ll. That crisp cool air would be welcome in my neck of the woods!!

I did the same thing and had to look. I can't IMAGINE someone saying that they're chilly right now. We're 78.6 + degrees here... that was this morning before the sun came up!
