This is the pictures of the build on my rig. Should give you what you were looking for as far as how. I did not realize how much never came back after the crash.

The time came that it had to be done! The scraps and pieces laying
about….. a perfectly good welder with some time… and the dream would reshape the iron into something WONDERFUL!

A picture abstract of a bbally design!

The first weld seam…. when the arc comes to the metal the beast that was
laying in pieces starts to take shape!

Slowly it becomes recognized as something to put fire to food!

Great build I remember when you posted it before the crash thanks for bringing it back for people to see and get ideas

nice build, what temps will the powdercoating withstand ? I guess my question is will the firebox keep it's color or burn off in time? I have two finished smokers that i want to powder coat.

And for those of you who wonder if it really works, look here. Hope I didn't get too far ahead of you, Bob.

This is one of Bob's helpers with the new rig.

This is Bob with a pan of excellent ribs off the new smoker.

My firebox was done with the newest high temp powder coat, rated to 1600 F before becoming soft. Then on the chambers I used the 1100F rated powder coat cause it was cheaper. (Not that it was cheap, but it is nice and durable.)

They are plumbed into the propane system. The fitting is the same at a disposible propane bottle. I hook my laterns up to them, and sometimes my Ir Heaters. I don't like generators running all night while I am smoking.

4 apple splits to come to temp. It then uses one 18 pound Royal Oak bag every two hours. And two hickory splits every two hours.

Holds 225 F to 270 F all day long with the above fuel.
