So my buddy Chris and I decided we wanted to build ourselves a couple of UDS smokers that we could use for tailgating. Even though our teams suck right now we figured supporting our teams by smoking some great meals couldn't hurt!
We finished the first one yesterday and christened it with a smoke of beer can chickens and turkey legs.
Here is Chris's Denver Bronco UDS build.

This turned out to be a really fun project and we want to thank DDave, Tip, Solaryellow, Donnylove and many others for all their advise! Mine should be finished next weekend and will post pics then.

If only it were a Redskins theme, I could definitely love this thing. Great looking build though, I bet it was a lot of fun.

The vinyl work is attached to heavy duty sheet magnets and they held up great, we smoked the birds at 300-325 and had no issues.

We should get our Colorado guys from this forum together for a smoke. Call it "operation torture the neighborhood"

great looking build guys!

Your creativity rocks.

We went with Duplicolor High Heat Engine paint (per DDave) ford blue and chevy orange along with 2 coats of clear coat.

I am interested in the casters I think I saw. What did ya use and how heavy. How were they mounted and how many? thanks.

The casters are 3" swivels casters with locks. We cut a circle out of 3/4" MDF, attached the casters then screwed through the barrel to attach the MDF disc. I don't have a picture of that today but I will PM you one this week.
