Stubborn butt!!!

Wanted to say stubborn a$$, because that's what this butt is doing. Usually I smoke a larger butt, but since it's just me and the wife, went with a little 3 pound butt.

10 hours later & the temps are still at 157. GRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe it, but the temp stuck at 146, then 151, now 157.

What's the record for smoking a small piece of meat?????

Wow all I can say is it will be worth it in the end. I've had two plateaus but never three yet.

Stuck my backup thermo in, & was a little more relieved. My Redi-chek showed 157, my backup showed 165. At least I can foil now...

Heh, I feel your pain... I started wondering if my digital topped out at 141, but the analog matches the temp, so I guess I'm just stuck waiting
