 Wow!! It's Cold out there!!

It shows 32 degrees on my thermometer. When I tried to start my grill, the igniter wouldn't push. I pushed harder and almost pushed the grill off of the patio.
I lit it with a lighter and a paper towel. 8)

I'm setting here with a cup of coffee (ok, a mocha frappuccino  ), watching it warm up. I'm in the house. 8)

My son and daughter-in-law are coming over tonight for supper. He's working a late shift this week, so tonight she won't have to cook. They're having their first child in March next year, our 6th grandchild. :D :D :D

Well, looks like it's time to start loading the grill. Then I'll start the red beans. Busy day.

I love it. :) :)

Tac- If you get too cold you could always fortify your coffee with some of that fine Tennessee sippin' whiskey!!

I'm going to do a couple of smoked turkeys this Sunday for dinner and the Weather guys are predicting a 50% chance of rain with the temperature around 55 degrees. I need to get to Homer's Depot and get some stuff to make a rain vent for my GOSM. Shoot, I just might put up my ez-up to keep ME out of the rain!! :D

BTW-Congrats on the new addition to the family. My youngest daughter had a baby boy Tuesday morning (grandson #3). He weighs in at 7 lbs. 9 1/2 ounces and is 21 inches long. I have a feeling that my newest little buddy is going to growup into a tall skinny kid!

A great BIG Congratualtions to both of you. :D

We hit the freezing mark out in the country a few nights ago. Brrrrrrr!

Congrats to the new and pending grandparents! :D :D :D

This weekends forecast is looking to be mostly sunny and low 60's. Not too bad for Octber in NE Ohio. Perfect for finishing up my fall yardwork and stacking all the firewood I split the other day. I think I'll throw a couple slabs of ribs in the box so I have something to look forward to. I might even do a beer can chicken or two for lunch during the week. :)

Regards,
Brian

Mama made a Command Decision !!!

I took the chicken legs off and asked her to try them. She told me that I hadn't cooked enough. So, I have another 9 on the smoker.

Women-they are NEVER satisfied!!! :D

Well, it was a good day. Everything turned out perfectly.

I decided at the last minute to add crab to my pepper stuffing, and I'm glad I did.

I think that I'll go to bed now.

Talk to you all later.
