St Louis Rib Surprise

  1. So the weather has been pretty gloomy in So Cal the last few weekends, and I have been anxious to get back outside so.....Looking for my BB's in the freezer and I came across a rack of Spares I trimmed up and stashed for an unrainy day.[IMG]

After a thaw out, they are ready for the rub down. Parkay and plenty of the good stuff!!

    Loooking better...

On to the ECB, dog gone it..Too long for this tiny lil smoker. Cant wait till the UDS BIG DOG is done.

After 3 hours of hickory, and a 2 hour nap wrapped in foil smothered in Fresh Blackberry Honey and more parkay....Back on for 1 hour to firm up a smidge...

Dang these things were good. Wish there was leftovers[IMG]

    Thanks for looking.

Now those look like some really dynamite ribs you have there. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do looking at them and trying to figure out if I have any in the freezer.

looks REALLY GOOD . On my ECB I roll my ribs for the smoke and tie off with twine and sometimes I will drop ABT s in the center with a meat filler wrapped in bacon . Again great job

  8. yeah i found on my ecb a rib rack is a life saver!!! makes it so i can do 4 racks with no problem but i do plan on fabracating some new rack suports so i can lower the top rack when doing a big cook.
