Good Morning All

Just a word of thanks to all that have posted and helped me in my new hobby. With the imput of you all I have found resourses for parts for an old smoker brought back to life after a long rest and the interest to buy and new one. A GOSM 3405.
Fired it up yesterday and burned some smoke, hope to throw in some meat in the next couple of days.
Anyone who uses a GOSH and has made mod's to make it sweeter....please drop me a line.
Thanks again to all and
HAPPY SMOKIN
Jack

Ask lost of questions, the friendly folk here at SMF will make answer! Any pics of the vintage smoker? As for my GOSM, it worked fine right out of the box.

Take care, have fun, and do good!

Regards,

Meowey

Jack,

Welcome to the SMF! I have a GOSM and I went down to the local hardware store and bolted on 4 caster wheels right away. I have a picture of my smoker in the q-view of one of my posts...Now i can move it anywhere I want without having to pick it up. I am thinking I am going to have to sturdy up the legs with some gussetts tho....Good Luck!!

Welcome aboard. I'm running a GOSM and it's been runnin fine right out of the box. Changed my firebox to a loaf pan and put a mounting point on it for my Maverick transmitter. Other than that it's stock. And I only use sand in the water pan.
