Hey all! I'm 42 married with a 4 year old...yea I was a procrastinator!
Waited to long to get started smokin too! I'm strictly an amateur smoker.
I have a Brinkman Pitmaster, a gas smoker, and a water smoker. Love the flavor with the Brink but it sure is a pain to keep the right temp! I plan to upgrade this summer to a Horizon or maybe a Traeger or Louisiana. I like the idea of building my own fire but I am leaning towards the ease of the Traeger or Louisiana. Any input would be great!
Thx!
Ron

Hello Ron, it's never too late to join the SMF and have some fun. It's all good my friend.

Welcome to the forum. Sounds like you are well on your way.

I have a Traeger Texas and love it. I have no experience with the Louisiana grill. Most everything I have heard has been good. There are quite a few folks on the forum that are pelletheads. Maybe you will get lucky and a Louisiana Grill owner will reply.
