Pot roast? Did one friday, along with a pot of Beef barley soup I'm just finishing. Serve no soup before it's time!
I usually leave my taters in larger chunks, and be sure to brown up one side of 'em, but to each their own.
you know that would taste even better with some....well........hickory smoke over it
Recipe ..coat With Small Amount Of Liquid Smoke Both Sides..brown On A Hot Skillet Coat With Montreall Steak Seasoning..rub In .slice Onions 1/4 Thick Romove Outer Ring Place Remove Next Ring Place Diffrent Area Continue Back And Forth Till Onion Is Gone I Used 2 Slices Of Onion. Bake 325 For 1 Hour ..add Potatoes And Carrots .bake 1 More Hour.. 4 Lb Pot Roast..mike

speaking of liquid smoke.....I've got to finish my liquid smoke generator.....a small alteration of alton browns method..........it's worked great to make some liquid applewood smoke, something you just can't buy.....and damn deliocious also.....
