Hi,
My name is Kevin for the West Coast! I've been doing a lot of research lately and just got my first electric smoker (MES 30 gen 2), iGrill2, and AMNPS.
I just pre-seasoned the puppy and ready to smoke my first rack of ribs this Sunday.
One question for all the pit-masters out there, what do you with the smoke once your done smoking.
For example, i put in pellets in the first row of my AMNPS because i needed smoke for 45min to top off my pre-seasoning of the MES 30. Once the time was up, i used a knife to separate the unburned pellets to use in the future. The portion that is burnt is still smoking. What do you do with it when you are done smoking your meat? Right now, it's sitting in the empty unplugged smoker, and letting it die out itself.
Is there a rule to put this out?
Thanks!!!!!
