I need some help with this tasty dog treat. I have a Masterbuilt Smoker from Cabelas and would like to smoke some pizzles for my dog. I am tired of paying upwards of $15 dollars a piece when I can buy raw for $5 dollars a piece. The last time i tried they almost became crystalized. I cooked them at about 175 for over 20 hours. I would like to have them hard and when my dog chews on them i would like them to get a little gummy. I am thinking I would have to do them kinda like jerky, but i am new to the whole electric smoker thing.

Thanks,

Ale
