  1. Hey everyone! Just joining the community here. I'm from talllahassee fl. it's about 6:45am and I've been at it since 4. Gotta couple of butts on,6 racks of ribs to follow and about 40 chicken thighs. I have a fairly large offset smoker i use and love. Cherry wood man here and the occasional oak. Anyhow, looking forward to learning some new things!

Welcome aboard Vonk.  Sounds like your living the old adage; "A loaded smoker is a happy smoker".

Got any pictures of her in action?  What time is dinner?

Welcome to the board! You'll fit right in. Got a threat of rain here so no smoking for me today.

  4. Nothing to exciting, but she's mine and i love her. Questioning whether i can fit everything in. Oh well, I'll have fun trying! Dinners at 4!

Welcome. Nice way to get started around here. Beautiful ribs.

  10. Thanks y'all! They turned out pretty good. Didn't take into consideration though that it was 95 here today and very low humidity which is not common for here. A touch dry but i don't think anyone but me has noticed. My own worst critic.
