Fort Hood, Texas
Hey yall, I am Jerry out of Fort Hood, Texas. I am originally from South East Texas but currently station at Ft. Hood. I have helped my dad with smokin' meat since I was 15. I currently have a small Weber grill that I smoke my dove with. I still have a lot to learn and came here for suggestions and tips. I am a very active hunter so if you need help or company just send a message. For the last 2 years I have been processing my own deer and the for the next two days I will process my first wild hog. Any tips and recipes for taking meat from the field to pitt would be much appreciated. If you have any questions about how I bring meat from the field to the pitt just send a message and I'd be glad to help.

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy and cold day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.   Thank you for your service

Good afternoon to you as well, thank you for supporting. It is a cold and cloudy day here at Hood as well, but it makes the perfect day to process wild game!  I wish I could have found this site before I married my wife! There would have been a lot better BBQ on the table and a lot less raised eye brows.
