JIRodriguez, 's is right, sometimes you just want to cook a chicken or one rack of ribs with out going all out.

Thats why I built these little ones,

This one is 12" dia, does two buts or chickens, and really does cook great.

Both of those look like really winners.  Do you have plans for these or did you just "wing it"?  How are they configured internally?

#22 just has a flat 3/16" reverse flow plate, its just something I free hand put together one saturday,

#20 was a little more planed out, wanting to try out a lot of ideals on.

Like top load basket door,

Lang website:

The DELUXE includes a warmer box for additional smoking and slow cooking capacity. The unit is on a backyard patio cart.

Is the "warmer box" a cold smoker?  Or does it just maintain temperature?  What do you use it for?

TIA,

Sid

Most cooks I know use them to stage food thats near ready while clearing up room in the cooking chamber. Especially when using the "crutch" method.  Prepared food like beans, mac n cheese, greens, etc can be brought to temp. with out fear of burning in the warmer box as well.  And if your rebuilding the rear end in your 67 chevelle while smoking some ribs, well you can use it as a bearing heater as long as no one see's you do it.  Dont tell no one I told you that though.
