Smoked Pork Loins w/ Q-view

    Kroger had pork loins for .99/pound. Bought some of rich's new rub. Gave it a run. Good stuff. Liked it. Basic, wrapped in bacon, etc.

    Cajun, I gotta say that those are some of the prettiest pork loins I've ever seen~ and especially perfectly crusty like you had them in the pic. The sliced shots made me want to grab a slice through the screen and take a bite!

    Just have to know about the Knob Creek. Did you waste it on the loins? If ya did, how and when? [​IMG]

    Points for a great show of fine smoking!

    Thanks. The Knob was for after the smoke. Loins came out good. wanted to load the buggy, but they cut you off at 2...

    Excellent idea on bacon weave.Have not seen that.I like that rub as well.All purpose as they say....[​IMG]POINTS!!!!!

    Thanks Alex. Think you need to replace that pick at the bottom wit a pick of Crosby...haha

    Great looking smoke Steve.
    Love the idea of wrapping the loins in bacon. Next time I find a good sale on pork loin guess what I'm smoking [​IMG]

    Ovechkin is literaly the only thing worth watching around here.Never thought i would like a russian LOL...

    I do respect crosby.I get tired of the CINDY comments and lack of appreciation for skill in the sports world.

  8. Cajun - those pork loins look amazing!

    So, I'm kinda new to all of this and wanted some specifics on how you cooked them (temp, wrapped ....?). Appreciate any info you can provide.

    I love the bacon weave on this. What an awesome idea! Good looking pork loins. I wish my locals would hit that price.... thats cheaper then hamburger.

    Thanks. I cooked them at 235 until internal temp of 165. Used hickory to smoke them. Pulled the bacon off the loins after I was done. Just wanted to add that flavor..

    Nice weaver on a very (potentially) dry cut of meat. They look great. Points for a great idea.

    wow, those look great! i just did a loin a few days ago, didn't have those results, but not bad. i'm doing the bacon wrap next time because those look so very delicious!

    nice looking loins there steve... with the bacon wrap and the rub i bet they were both juicy and very tasty!!! i havent given the rub a try yet. mebe next weekend. nice pix too!!!![​IMG]
