Smoke signals from Ft. Walton Beach, FL

Hey all! Just got my first gas smoker. a 34" landmann vertical. I also run a brinkmann 4 burner grill. Im some what of a newbie when it comes to smokin. My first smoke was in a Oklahoma Joe knock-off with the side-fire box. I did a 16hr smoke on a 10lb pork shoulder and it came out beautifully. Unfortunately that smoker was too big to haul to FL from TX so I passed it on. Just did a quick 1hr smoke of some Italian sausage in my new Landmann with some cherry wood. I came here to SMF to gain some knowledge.

I just moved back here from Texas. DFW area. I went to HS over in Panama City, did a 6 year tour of Barksdale AFB in Louisiana and then came back to PC. Moved to TX for about 3yrs and finally made it back home. Glad I did too, the heat out there this year is crazy!
