I recently got my grubby paws on a New York strip for $3.47/lb... While trimming and processing the NY strip for our meals, I cut a few thinner steaks(.5"-.75") for some fast breakfasts. Seeing as we are leaving on another road trip today, my gf began making a steak 'n sunnyside up eggs breakfast. She's the pro at the sunnyside up eggs...I'm much more adept at the broken version, which is nowhere as good... The NY steaks were cooked in a smokin' hot cast iron pan... No "in progress" images today, I was busy loading the car during preparation... ...just the final "sitting at the table" indulgence images... ...and the "money shot in all its ooey, gooey goodness...
