I wanted to say hello to everyone again.  I was on this site when it first started, which happened to be when I started smoking for the first time.

But divorce got the best of me and I lost my smoker in the process but the yearning for smoking held strong in my blood and I am back to the basics again.  Did some work for a friend and they gifted me a vertical smoker!  I was not expecting it and it was a nice surprise.

I am back in school so it is nice to study and smoke at the same time.

I have not gotten used to the vertical smoker with charcoal as I am used to using logs.  But it is all good, I am learning all over again.

I hope to become an active member of the community as I was in the past and I hope my OTBS ranking still stands.  I was #11 after all!!!!!!!

I also hope to keep my status as group Jester.  But we will see.

Talk to you all soon!

to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us again! There are some things that have changed a bit since you were last here.  Make sure you read the "Terms of Service" notes....(there are some new things there)  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums and some guidelines of how to interact within the forums. Off site links are not allowed here at SMF per Jeff. Not that you have done anything wrong....just a little bit of FYI for new members!

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!

Hello buzzard and good to see you are still around.. Glad you found your way back here!

We'll have to talk to Dutch and see about the OTBS thing but I don't expect it to be an issue.

Happy smoking!
