Roadside bird on the Minitisserie!

    Yes that's right the Mini-WSM rotisserie! This is version 1.0 to be modified a bit more. Just trying it out this afternoon. More to follow later. Not monitoring pit or bird. Put probably is around 250 and I'll just leave it wide open for the cook. Will probe the bird around the 40 minute mark to see where we are.

    Thanks DS! Gonna modify the pot a bit better for this. I still want to be able to use the rotisserie over the fire pit too!

    Okay at the 40 minute mark we are at 93 degrees in the breast. Smoker no along!

    JJ,

    I used the roadside marinade. This bird was
    Marinating in it since Friday night. Was supposed to dinner last night while camping, but we had to return early. So tonight I fired things up. Boiled the marinade down to use as the basting sauce. The recipe is in this thread:
