Well do to time i am not going to worry about the membrain on this run (thanks for everyones help.) I did however try to make a run at making a fatty as well do you think smoking it at the smae time as the ribs will give the ribs bad flavor. Pictures are coming!!
 
You can smoke a fatty and ribs at same time, no worries. I'd have the ribs over the fatty, my opinion, as ribs cost a lot more and I wouldn't want breakfast sausage grease dripping on my rubbed ribs.

Not at all, smoke it right along with them ribs. Can't wait to see the finished results.
 
No smoking them both at the same time is fine. Good luck with the smoke and I'll look for the Qview later
 
I am using Baby Back Ribs and plan on the 2-2-1 method. do to space is it ok to place them on racks to stand on end?
 
You mean on their side? It sure it, in fact, they make a rib rack just for that purpose.
