Figures - as soon as I get my back yard done with redneck pool, sun shade, pallet bar, reggae tunes jamming, grills begging for meats, etc we decide to have cloudy, rainy days for two weeks in a row. Oh well guess I'll just sit here and enjoy the sound of the rain and the less than 90 degree temps.
Had some chicken wings in the freezer and picked up some breasts for "those who don't eat chicken off a bone". Nothing fancy just some Tony C's Cajun sprinkle and since I'm out of wing sauce I'm just going to baste and dip them in Matouks Calypso sauce. If you've never had it I HIGHLY recommend it! The heat is definitely there but the flavors are amazing. Probably my favorite hot sauce of all time.
Threw a nice peach chunk in for some smoke. Peach seems to do well with wings. Nothing mind blowing today but I'm bored so I figured I'd put it on the web. Oh and FYI assuming the sales are corporate wide WD has pork butts on sale for $1.50 / lb through Wednesday. I'll be picking one of those up!

Letting it get up to 275 then the wings go on

Just about time to take em off...

Been hovering between 275-300 the whole time. Should be nice and crispy on the outside and delicious inside.
