Since the only reason I know about ABT's is because of this forum, I thought it would be appropriate to provide my first Q-View of my first attempt at ABT's.  I chose what seems to be the most basic recipe for my first go around (Cream cheese, mix of mozz & cheddar, lil smokie, my normal dry rub, bacon, and some ground chipotle).

Finished product (230 degrees for 2 hours...while I like my bacon well done, I will cook them less next time).

Overall I was very happy with the ABT's...best tasting "stuffed peppers" I've ever had.  There is lot's of room for improvement and many options to tackle for future ABT smoking.  Thanks to all for the great ideas and info.

The ABT's look pretty darn good from here. The only problem with makin' them is, you'll have to make them every time that you smoke somthin'.
