Hey Everyone.  Just got done battling a 4 pound pork shoulder that took much, MUCH longer then anticipated, i suppose its the legendary "plateau"   Started at 11 Am, ended at 9:30 pm, anywho, enough talk, more pictures

The meat, ready for a nice sleep in the fridge

And then the rain started, i had to improvise for a bit, meat was at around 155 at this point, granted it was at that point for an hour or two

Moved it inside and foiled at 165, about 10 minutes later it turned into a downpour, glad i moved it when i did, stole a picture of the bark:

    And the finished pull

Topped it off with the finishing sauce from this website.  I must say, it was an epic battle, but i think i won

that looks good, when I to pulled pork, brisket , chuckie etc I smoke something like ribs or meat loaf that I know will cook in a time line and have the other then next day.  That way I do not rush it and we still eat

Thanks for the comments everyone.  It turned out well, we did have a backup plan for dinner, which is standard when i cook [IMG]   unfortunately the rain scared the critters away, so i didn't share, however a couple of the neighborhood dogs sure were interested in what was going on, but i'm greedy, didn't share with them either!
