  7. The food looks amazing but I'm jealous of that large white tub. I need that for containing meat, rub, etc. while working.

Totally impressive. Grandpa's are oldies, but they got all the goodies!

Amazing thread my friend. Outstanding food, great pictures, and an excellent reason to smoke.

Totally, the only improvement I could suggest would be squirt guns while the meat cooks. LOL Rockin Grandpa!

  12. Well!  I had a few very nice store bought hotdogs last night.  They were made from a REAL meat like substance.  ABSOLUTELY LOVELY!  Only took me about 10 minutes to fry them.  [IMG]PLEASE CAN YOU SEND ME A CARE PACKAGE??  Cold, wind and rain here the last several days!  No way to smoke anything!

NO! NO!  I'M FINE!  I CAN GET THROUGH THIS!  I won't fall apart.  LOVE the English winter.  I'll be fine.  Keep Smokin!

I was doing one of those online genealogy searches and it seems that somehow, you are my grandpa, too. I'd like some beans, ribs and butts delivered to my house this coming weekend. Thanks in advance, Grandpa.[IMG]

  20. It was a miserable day yesterday, drizzled off and on most of the day, never got out of the 30's, But none the less the smoking went on.

I used Pecan for the smoke, The Boss said "I like pecan, its got just the right amount of smoky flavor"  She also said " Just use pecan from now on"

It was a big hit, The grandson who lives with us said the food we took over to his best friends house was devoured, on kid said " Man I wished my grandpa could cook like this" also said I don't really like potato salad but this stuff is gooood.

Other grandson, #2 son and daughter-in-lay said it was the best on yet (but they say that every time)

While me and the Boss were eating last night, I said I've still got a turkey in the freezer, maybe i'll smoke it next week, she just gave me the look. I think I better give it a rest for a couple of weeks

Thanks again for the kind words, comments and points    I appreciate each and every one

    Gary
