I am still new to smoking but had a quick question
I want to do pulled pork and I don't know whether to use butt, shoulder, or picinic. I have done a couple and they didn't turn out the best I want one that will pull easy
Any help would be appreciated

I'm no expert and just did my first shoulder. My info would be to start with a small one which ever you chose. IF that goes well then up the size.. My first was a 5lb shoulder..

Go with the boston butt first... it is very forgiving and there is very little waste...

Could be just coincidence but ever time I do pulled pork the BUTT does better and tastes better than the picnic. Tho it has all been good at worst.

The Boston butt just seems to have extra flavor to me.
