Pastrami with qview

    Well I saw in the newletter how to make the pastrami and figured why not try. Picked up a 3 lb one.




    Getting ready to remove from smoker, had put some baked beans in too



    Letting it rest



    Sliced, was very tender and moist



    Dinner

    i think you need to send me a sandwich for testing purposes put a little extra mustard for me please!!!!

    Looks good, It's on my list to try. Did you follow the direction from the newsletter or did you alter it a little?

    Hey Coacher, I followed the directions, I smoked it between 225 and 250, took 9 1/2 hours

    Do more than one! The leftovers dont last long!

    Great looking smoke. Looks like the rub made for a nice bark!

    that is a great looking pastrami, I love it when something comes out just right the first time. I like the baked beans as a drip tray, I bet that added to the flavor.
