Still planning my exhaust. I priced out 4" 409 stainless exhaust but was expensive i think i might use 3" with a reducer from me 4" ss sausage maker dampet kit. Should i do a 90 degree elbow or a tee with something to catch the black rain condesation?
Wouldnt thw smoke travel out both ends of does it naturaly rise and go out the top?

Ive had great success with the brinkman element. Ive had the smoker up to and hold at 275 no problem. Though i usually only run it around 225f at most. Its a well insulated fridge so the element can heat it up no problem. As long as there are no dripping in the bottom of the smoker it will work fine. But a drip pan under anything that is cooking at temps above 180 and youll be fine.

With this style of cabinet smoker do i require air inlets if so how big?

I have 1.5" pipe  set as a mailbox mod for my smoke. Will put a 1.5" intake with a ball valve in the back of my next build. thinking of putting in the bottom so it doubles as a drain for cleaning.

As it is now the house temp stays very constant, even when -30c, windy and exhaust is wide open.

I went out the back with a 3"-4" collar into a 4" 'T'. I would've just gone with 3" all the way but couldn't find one in Rona or Home Depot. Have the bottom capped, just need to put a couple holes in the bottom so the water drains out. I hang a large empty coffee can under it. Colder it is where the smoker is the more condensation in the line youll get. Not great to have running back down into the smoker and onto your food.

gorgeous colour. That's the colour I was originally going to paint my current build for a customer. Decided to go with a vinyl wrap instead. Was told it should be ready this week.
