Now smoking in KC

Hello everyone I'm Josh and live in the Kansas City area.  I've become quite skilled over the years in the grilling department, but I'm new to smoking.  I purchased the 30" Masterbuilt Sportsman Elite smoker at Cabela's the weekend after Thanksgiving.  I picked up some good tips already from this forum, so I decided to join.  I smoked meat (baby back ribs) on Sunday and they turned out pretty decent for the first run.  After eating good BBQ in KC over the past 15 years, I look forward to making some of my own!

About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...

Welcome from a fellow KC area member. You should look into getting an Amazen pellet smoker for your smoker. You will be happy.
