Hey have been lurking here for quite a while, thought I would "officially" say hello.
I live just east of the SF bay area, in whats considered "The Delta" I have been a BBQ fanatic forever, but never got into using a smoker until a couple of years ago.

My dad was always fooling around with an old refrigerator modded smoker, so I really got to love the whole thing about smoking stuff.

Now I have an electric Bradley Smoker and I really get some good results from it. Now I am trying to do some curing, ham, bacon, pastrami and so on. Thanks for all the great ideas, and know how, I have read here

Welcome to SMF. Glad to have another cali smoker.

Dont give them any ideas. They already charge too much for everything else.

If they did we'd be pullin' up stakes and lookin' for somewhere else!

Welcome MyBad! So glad you ventured out into the open! There's a lot of fun and information here.

The Delta huh??? We lived literally "on" the Delta for a number of years and in the Delta total for about 12 years. Love it, miss it, and hate being landlocked.

Although we're not that far away.
