Linda has been asking for them for a while, and I finally had time for a long smoke today. I picked up a medium-sized slab but I had to be careful because the first two in the case had loose crackly cryovac sleeves - fail! Cut in half and sprinkled with some old "cajun" rub made by a friend, nothing else. It has a bit of celery-seed aroma. Now to make the fire. And this morning's biscuits just for the heck of it. A base of Stubbs charcoal, with some scrap honeysuckle as a starter. Now I wait for the CC to heat up, it was 150 and climbing last time i checked. The conditions are perfect, sunny and warm and almost perfectly calm. Flowers blooming, birds singing, etc.
