Newbie!

Hello everyone, checking in here from the hills and hollers of west-central Illinois! I began smoking meat earlier this year (mid-May) and have developed a serious addiction. I've tried about all things pork and will soon be venturing into beef/turkey/chicken. I've browsed the forums and all kinds of online resources, but now that I feel somewhat confident that I know what I'm talking about...I felt led to join the conversation! My skill level is probably a 3 or 4 on a scale of 1-10. I still make mistakes and have a lot to learn, but I'm dedicated and am stoked that I've found such a fun, satisfying pastime. Looking forward to meeting all of you!
