Hi All!
I live in the DC area and have some smoking experience using a standard Weber grill. For a couple of years I switched to a MasterForge, and that was just okay. For 2016, I plan to revert to my trusted Weber, and am considering buying a electric smoker. My wife suggested the electric, but after my instinctive 'NO', I think I'm coming around.

Anyway, cool to find this forum! Hope to stop in now and then to compare notes and ideas.

Regards,
BB

Welcome from SC, BB. It's good to have you on this great site. Since you have good experience on your Webers, etc. stay with the charcoal/wood. You already have good heat management skills and the finished flavor will definitely be better.

There are lots of electric folks here that will smother you with the various electric cooker points, however, you already know what's best.

Good luck and keep on smokin', Joe
