Newbie from MI

  1. Hi everyone. Been visiting this site since I got my MES back in the summer and just now decided to join (sorry). Anyway, I've done some experimenting with baby backs, done a brisket flat and some pulled pork and also tried a baked beans recipe I found on here - all with much success due to the postings on this site. I'm just now starting to get a good feel for cooking temps, times, different types of woods, etc - all the things that make this "hobby" so much fun. Glad to finally become a member and keep up the great work! P.S - a Philly cheesesteak or breakfast fattie is next on the horizon...:grilling_smilie:

  3. Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
    About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
    and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
    We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
    Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
    because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
