I am definitely glad I found this forum.  New to smoking but definitely looking forward to honing my skills.  Especially with my all time favorite, brisket.

as far as smokers, I am planning to buy a char griller or brinkmann pro with offset boxes.  Not the best of equipment, but good to learn from.  And also not bad given the limited selection in my area.
