Newbie from Louisiana.

Hi, just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. My name is Trey and I am from louisiana. I have been smoking sausage for a few months now. I am interested in learning more tips on sausage making, and I am really looking into making my own bacon and hams. As you can see in my avatar I have my own smokehouse, so I'm just looking to get into meat smoking a little deeper and learning more about cures and things

thanks guys, I have already come to love this site and I've only been here a few hours. I have already found tons of new recipe ideas I have to try. The bad thing with this is, I just had jaw surgery yesterday and I can't eat solid food for 8 weeks. Yay, what a great time to find this site huh? Anyway, this site is great. 2 thumbs up!!!

smoking and reading all the stuff you can do you'll gain weight .

yea I've already got my eye on making bacon and especially these Fatty things. they look legit. I've been smoking the usual stuff for years like pork roast, ribs, etc. I'm interested in the bacon, sausage, fatties, and things like that. this place is awesome

yea no kidn bayou. right now its not that bad because I'm swollen and can't really chew but here in about 2 weeks when all the swelling and pain is gone but I still cant chew anything for weeks, thats when it's gonna get bad.
