Hello, my name is Bill and i live in Indiana. I just found this forum and so far i like it alot. Been doing bbq for many years on a variety of smokers. My current set up is a Weber kettle with a Que 110 air controller. I have almost always had good luck cooking ribs, brisket, purk butts and Poultry. Due to recent mobility problems i have no been able to cook and it bums me out. I decided to get a propane smoker that will be easier to set up. I am looking at the Smoke Hollow 38202g. It measures a good size for the quantity o food that i smoke and i like that it has a two door design and at $229, the price is right.

I would love to hear opinions of this smoker or suggestions for similar size and priced units.

Thanks
Bill

Welcome from SC, Bill. It's sure good to have you on this great site. It sounds like you already have your feet wet, so dig in and keep on smokin'. I'm sorry, but I don't know anything about the smoker that you're looking at, but I'm sure there are others that can share their ideas. Also, be sure to look at the post that DukeBurger pointed out.

Good luck and be sure to post some pics of your cooks, Joe

Might want to consider the PS4415 at Sam's Club for $269.00.  It is also a Smoke Hollow version but looks to be a little larger than the 38202G.  It has a window and you can access your wood chips without having to open any doors.
