Hello all. I am new to the forum and I look forward to interacting.

I have an older heavy offset smoker, a trager and my own UDS build and love using them all.

I have a question. Is it taboo to ask about advice or experience in competitions? I have a competition (my first, its a small county fair comp) and I havent the slightest idea how to go about it... particularly presentation.

So, is information like this closely guarded? thanks in advance!

Welcome to the SMF Family...People have asked for help and advice before. There are guys from all over the country here and not likely you will be going against any of them anytime soon...JJ

Thanks. I think I'll pose my questions in another forum and see what happens.

I am sorry I was not more clear. Because there are competitors that you will not likely go against...They are usually happy to help other guys out with techniques.Just ask and you will get help...JJ
