I just joined to get insight on how to season my smoker & any tips for smoking different kinds of meat.

My name is Jeff from Columbus Ohio. Our family are big Buckeye fans. We love to cook out. My wife bought me an electric Smoke Hollow for Christmas. I haven't seasoned it yet. Just wanted some tips on best way to do that.

Welcome Jeff, if I knew how I would give you a link

but I'm still learning too.

Just look up on the top right side you'll see a little thing looks like a magnifying glass.

punch that and type in season smoker.

You will get all the seasoning tips you will ever need.

Keep on smokin'                             Ed

Welcome from SC, Jeff. It's good to have you on this great site.

Spray the inside of your cooker real good with cooking oil like Pam, etc. Then get your cooker up to a real hot level and let it sit for 2-3 hours. I say real hot, because I really don't know what your Smoke Hollow will do. It doesn't hurt to wipe down the outside either to help with rust.

Good luck with it, Joe.
