New to smoking Very new

Hello My name is Sandra. I am very new to the world of smoking. My brother told me that I needed a smoker when we made sausage from the deer he shot So when Bass Pro had them on sale on Black Friday.

I have smoked some chicken and Boston butts with some apple chips I got at Bass pro. They turned out wonderful. I want to try different wood and I would like to do a dessert in my smoker if anyone has a recipe.
