New to sausage making

  1. Hi eveyone,

    Just a couple quick questions maybe you all can answer, been reading alot.. I made my first venison summer sausage this last weekend with a hi-mnt premix. it is Ok just seems to be missing something, been reading about fermento is this something I should be adding to a premixed season or is there something else to give it that tang I think it is missing??? Thanks lots of info here

    Are you sure that was not an ingredient in your pre-mix?
