Hi all,
I'm not completely new smoking but I would say I may be a little wet behind the ears. Ha-ha.
I use a Masterbuilt electric smoker. I've done a couple of briskets and a pork butt. They have all turned out perfect. The problem with one was a rub I made that had cummin in it. The cummin just overpowered the flavor of the meat. I will never use cummin again. Haha.
I've bought a couple of smoking books and can tell that the bug has really bit me. Who needs golf when I can spend all my money on my smoker? Ha-ha.
I look forward to learning some new tips and tricks and I'm really glad to be here. Thanks and Cheers.

  to SMF!

Glad to have you aboard!

You may want to purchase Jeff's rub & sauce recipes.

They are very good & can be easily tweaked to fit your own flavor profile.

Also some of the proceeds are used to keep this site going.
