New Smoker

HI everybody, my first day on the list and I have a question.

My wife bought a Char Broil grill smoker combo fr my birthday and it a texas type smoker

with the little smoker end hanging off the grill.

Any special way to use that, I'm use to the barrel type and have never seen one

of these or used one.

Welcome to the forum Deragen.

If you use the search bar and do a search for Chargriller or horizontal offset you will pull up many threads pertaining to that type of smoker. Most horizontal offsets that you buy at Lowes, Home Depot, ect. require some cheap basic mods to get them to work well. I suggest reading some of the posts your search will pull up and see what type of mods you will need to make.
