Hello All

My wife bought me a CharGriller grill with an offset smoker for my birthday. She is a good wife, thanks Claire.

A few big heavy boxes and help form my son, we had the grill put together.

We have smoked pork shoulders a few times already.  We have all love the great smoke flavor we get from using a low and slow method of grilling.

My son is already planning on inheriting my grill when I am too old to do my own grilling. I do not know how old too old for grilling is, but as I get more low and slow this type of cooking suits me.

Thank you for the forum, I have seen a lot of great ideas on grilling mods and I have been making a few mods to my grill already.

I am involved in metalwork and plan on making my own FrankenGrillzilla modifications in the future.

Thanks,

Dave

Welcome , Dave. to retire from smoking I'd have to be dead, I'm gonna stick in there and "P" everyonfe off and then use it as my coffin.Mine's a bit larger than yours. My Son and Grandkids need to watch more. Thet say they know how, but haven't proven it to me yet

.

Good luck and have fun. As always . . .

I plasma cut some stainless steel grill plates that can replace the cast grill, and used them for my first attempt at Pizza on the grill this last weekend.

The first one was a little burnt but the second one turned out very good.

So little time so much to grill.
