Hey all,
Just joined the forums after reading them for awhile. I have been smoking meats for a few years and have a few smokers kicking around, a Brinkman vertical offset smoker, a Brinkman offset barrel smoker that I have used over the years and my most recent is the Great Outdoors Smoky Mountain gas smoker (got tired of all the trips to the smoker to tend the fire during a long smoke). Running my first real smoke on it as we speak. So far all looks normal.
Looks like a bunch of great guys here already found good info on the Great Outdoors smokers here.

Welcome to our little corner of the web, David. Glad you decided to join in! I've got two GOSMs, myself, and I love 'em. I'm sure you will too!

Cheers,
Brian

Welcome aboard................Great people and info here.....................Can't wait to hear about your smokes................

First smoke on the new GOSM went as expected, only difference is no trips to the smoker to tend the fire... Didnt get a chance to grab any qviews, hardly made it to the table.
