Joined the site about a month ago.  Got a WSM 18.5 for Father's Day.  This site has been a great resource, Jeff's rub and sauce are awesome too.  First smoke was a beef chuck roast, just because that was what I had in freezer.  I've done some sausages and a few butts since then as well.  I like all cooking outdoors (while having a cold beer!), coaching my kids' teams, a little hunting and fishing as time permits as well.

Welcome to SMF jkoopman!  Glad you're here with the new toy, one of the best smokers on the planet (I'm biased).  Looks like you're giving it a good workout and keeping the family drooling.

Have fun!

Welcome from SC. Sounds like you're off to a good start. The WSM is a good way to start, also. It is user friendly and versatile. I know you will enjoy this site. There are lots of folks here who are always ready to help. All you have to do is ask. Good luck and keep on smokin', Joe
