HELLO YES MY NAME IS DANNY LANG, I LIVE IN AMELIA VIRGINIA. I HAVE BEEN COOKING ON A OFFSET SMOKER FOR A FEW YEARS NOW. 2 YEARS AGO I BOUGHT A BIG GREEN EGG FROM A FRIEND OF MINE, AND REALLY LIKE IT. I RECENTLY PURCHASED A LANG SMOKER, REVERSE FLOW AND LEARNING IT.

I AM A MECHANIC FOR PHILIP MORRIS TOBACCO COMPANY, WORK SECOND SHIFT.

I LIKE TO HUNT DEER AND TURKEYS, AND LOVE TO SMOKE MEAT ON MY SMOKERS. I WENT TO A FEW COOKING SCHOOLS WITH THE PIGS ON THE RUN COOKING TEAM. THEY TAUGHT ME A LOT. I JOINED THIS FORUM TO TRY TO HONE MY SKILLS A LITTLE BETTER. IF I ASK STUPID QUESTIONS PLEASE FORGIVE ME, UNTIL I LEARN TO DO THIS BETTER.

THANKS

DANNY LANG

Hey Danny, welcome to SMF!  With an offset, a BGE, and a Lang RF it sounds like you've got a nice lineup of gear.  Ask questions and read the threads.  It will be come apparent quickly that there's a hundred different ways to do the same thing.  Finding what works for you is all that matters.

Looking forward to seeing what you smoke on your new Lang RF.

Have fun!

Welcome!  This is, by far, the most informative site for all things "smokn".  Glad to hear you bought a Lang.  I am planning on purchasing one next year.  Let us know what you think and how you are using it.  I am sure you are aware, but there is a Lang forum here as well.  Again .... Welcome.
