Skully Here,

Thanks for the place to hang out and talk about our common hobby.

Been using a gas fired beast for a couple of years now to try and smoke our meals and have finally

taken the plunge into a real machine. Bought a Traeger lil Tex Elite last week and have been practicing

on baby backs and Boston Butts. Todays Boston came out exceptionally well. have a look

3 hours on smoke using an apple hickory blend, removed to a pan and treated to a brown sugar coating than back on the

Traeger at 225 uncovered for 7 hours. Tight wrapped in foil and laid to bed in a towel for an hour in the oven at 200.

Pulled and served on kaisers with the option of a home made honey bourbon or southern mustard sauce.

Was truly amazing.

Thanks for having me and look forward to many more posts.
