Hey everyone, Just love the site and the way everyone helps each other and gets along here! I started out smoking whole hogs about 5 years ago, ( weird starting point I know) for my own and a few buddy's weddings. I used an indirect wood smoker I seen a guy using one weekend and talked him into letting me rent it. They all turned out great, Ive done about 8 hogs but none for a couple years. For my birthday in march my wife purchased me a 40" Masterbuilt electric smoker, Ive only used it a few times (Chickens, Ribs, Brisket) have been happy with everything so far except the brisket, but everyone else said it was good. Just purchased a Char-Broil Silver offset smoker last night and will use it tomorrow, Planning both Spare and Babyback ribs and a venison loin. We shall see!
